  1. Waarom gamet de androider minder?

    July 13, 2011 by Mike

  2. The Best Android Apps

    April 8, 2011 by Mike

Hi there! With the purchase of my new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S with Google’s Android, I took the liberty of downloading all the favorite apps I dreamed of when I had a BlackBerry. I made a selection of the best apps, see it below. Enjoy!

    Social media

    1. WhatsApp
The popular app WhatsApp allows you to send text messages (and more) to your phone contacts, via internet (WiFi or your dataplan). It doesn’t matter whether the receiver has an iPhone or iPod, an Android or a BlackBerry. Those smartphone devices are supported.

    2. Twitter
I don’t think a description is needed for the popular microblog ‘Twitter’.

    3. Facebook
Nor do I think you haven’t heard from Facebook. It’s a social media platform which connects you to people all over the world.

    4. Skype
Call your Skype friends for free! Impossible? No, Skypee works via internet. Both WiFi and 3G are supported. Give it a try. (Skype is also for chat)

    5. Droidin
Droidin is for the social media platform ‘LinkedIn’, which is actually your online resume.

    6. Foursquare
Tell the world where you are. Also take a look at this blog post for more info on this one.

    7. Ebuddy
Windows Live Messenger for your phone.

  3. LG Cookie review part II

    February 13, 2010 by Mike

I have written a review before for the Cookie, and I gave it an 8. I want to put things straight and give a second opinion, because there are some things that are less good about the Cookie. My cookie’s broke. And, honest, it’s not my fault, It didn’t fell. Its just a weak piece of shit. And it doesnt respond, the stick is also annoying touch with the finger is much much better. If you want to buy the cookie, please do NOT do it, go for the Samsung Star, its much, much better, believe me. I regret chosing the Cookie and I must fall back on my old Sony Ericsson, which I think is even better than the Cookie. Yes, I’m angry. I CANNOT believe that stores are selling this shit, that a manufactorer is making this, I mean, you don’t make cars without wheels do you?!

If I had to rate this phone right now

    First look; 8
    Second look; 2,5
    Average; 5,3

  4. LG Cookie Review

UPDATE: For the updated version of this article please view this page:

And now it’s time for the LG Cookie! Doesn’t the name sounds delicious? Well, the phone comes in three colors: pink, grey and black. Mine is black. It has two ‘desktops’: one for the widgets and one for your favorite contacts. The last dekstop allows you to easily phone and/or send text messages to your favorite contacts.

The interface is exact the same as LG Renoir and LG Viewty, only it is hard to find themes for the LG Cookie. I was browsing the web and the online theme I could find is this cool Apple iPhone-theme. The LG Cookie comes with four different games: Wheel of Fortune, Pipes and a game with dices (wich is great if you lost your dices and want to play a game). If you register your phone at lgmobile.com, you can get 400 points and download game for 90 points/each. Any more games were hard to find, untill I read this topic.

The camera has no flashing light (I don’t know what’s the word) and has 3,0 MP. My LG Cookie didn’t come with a MicroSD, but you can purchase one if you want. It has, of course, Bluetooth, Music Player, FM Radio, Organiser, Calculator and a Browser (No Wi-Fi, but wap) It has a painting program, with different colours and stuff.

Overall I give this mobile an 8,0!

  5. Nokia N79 Review

    August 16, 2009 by Mike

Nokia’s. Known as compact, simple, classy phones. But the N79 is the complete opposite. The great thing about WLAN (Wireless LAN) is that almost every household has one connection. It should be crazy as the mobile phone-producer didn’t do something with that. Just log in on your WLAN Connection and start surfing. Websites such as MSN, Ebuddy, Google and social communities make apps that you can install very simple on your mobile and use them. MSN-ing, watch movies at YouTube, searching with Google or checking the weather at MSN.com, it’s all very simple to reach!

The Nokia-interface is very good. There are billions of themes avaible on the web that you can use to pimp up that interface. I think pcs and mobile phones have more things in common these days than ever. Take for example the ‘File manager’ on the Nokia. Isn’t that just similiar to the Windows Explorer? The only difference between mobile phones and pcs is ofcourse that mobiles are for calling and texting!

You can listen to FM Station (with the beautiful headset), but you can also listen to the webstations via network or WLAN. Besides listening to FM you can also send out FM! Up to 4 meters on a by you chosen frequency. Example – I was sending out at 107,5 Mhz, my radio was also at 107,5 Mhz. I heard the song from my mobile on my radio!

The screen flips if your flip it over, that’s very handy for internet or so. The mobile comes with a 4GB memory card, 5 megapixel at the back and a little at the front.

The back has three different designs. At this moment I have red, but I can change it into white or blue.

Overall, I give this mobile a thick fat A!
